Autographed Maria Sharapova 8x10 framed image
Few players transcend the game of tennis to the level of Maria Sharapova, a megastar who owns three Grand Slam titles and is one of the highest paid female athletes in the world. Sharapova has competed in Charleston twice; once as a 15-year-old qualifier in 2003 where she reached the first round of the main draw, and most recently at the Family Circle Cup’s 35th Anniversary Celebration in 2008 where she reached the quarterfinals and faced eventual champion Serena Williams in a 3-set battle that clearly stands out as the largest sporting event in Charleston’s history.

Serbian standout Jelena Jankovic made her mark on the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour at the 2007 Family Circle Cup where she notched her first Tier I title. She rode the success that she found in Charleston on to a World #3 ranking that year, and since has climbed as high as No. 2 in the world during the 2008 season. This photo depicts Jankovic on the grounds of the Family Circle Tennis Center later in the day after claiming the 2007 championship trophy in a hard-fought victory over Dinara Safina.

Custom designed with the 2009 Family Circle logo and signed by the Cup’s Top 6 seeded players, this is a distinctive item crafted by a popular Lowcountry artist. An actual photo of this item was not available at the time this auction was posted, however, the platter will closely resemble last year’s version displayed in this photo by the first Family Circle Cup champion, Rosie Casals.



2009 Championship Match - Used Tennis Balls (Can of 3)
This incredible item is truly a piece of history in the making. These three match-used balls will be collected during the Balls that will be used in the 2009 Family Circle Cup Championship Match2009 Family Circle Cup singles championship, and one of the balls will be signed by the champion immediately after the match. The balls chosen for this auction will be selected by their appearance (containing many string marks) and placed in their original can for shipment to the winner.

“Winning in Doubles” Luncheon presented by Garnier Tickets
Bring a friend and join us for the "Winning in Doubles" Luncheon presented by Garnier during the Family Circle Cup where you can learn doubles strategy from the top pros in women's tennis. Four Sony Ericsson WTA Tour star players will give their advice and offer tips on how to succeed in doubles. These two tickets have a retail of $90 and include lunch, doubles strategy presentation, Q&A session, player autographs and a special gift. The luncheon will be held from 11:30am to 1:00pm on Tuesday, April 14 in the Family Circle Corporate Tent, located outside the stadium's southeast corner.  closed
